lyrics

The mutual chivalry,
Between what I want, and what I need.
Often at the worst of times,
Seems to get, only the best of me.
But why stop now, lets climb the mountains,
Instead of spending time, trying to move them.
And we can theorize on hopes and dreams,
And spend our time trying to prove them.

So we can go learn the things,
They think we need to know.
Then go to the river,
Just to feel the flow.
And we can let it, carry us away.

Sometimes I wish they made cabinets,
That came equipped with combination locks.
I'd use them as a safe,
Place for my thoughts.
Away from all of the problems,
That they always seem to cause.
But still i wanna scream it, I wanna yell it,
I wanna infest them all.

So we can be all the things,
They told us not to be.
You'll be you,
And I'll be me.
But we know, that we can help each other out.

Sometimes out tongues, and our lips,
Just cant say, whats really on our minds.
Mostly because our lips are loose,
And all of our tongues, they seem to be tied.
So we speak with all of our guts and glory,
And force all the land to hear us.
While I search for that higher ground,
And spend my days, trying to rise above.

So we can do all the things,
They think we shouldn't do.
I was me,
While you were you.
And at least I learned, How to help you out
